The 4's Literacy Curriculum focuses on introducing phonological awareness, alphabetic knowledge, and writing skills to preschoolers. Through movement, exploration, and multi-sensory activities, children will be captivated as they build the essential skills for pre-reading success.

The curriculum is delivered through letter cycles. Children will explore letters A-Z through a quick review at the beginning of the curriculum. Then, we will dive deeper into each letter, focusing on learning 2 letters per week through poetry, practice, movement, and play. The final letter cycle will include reviewing groups of letters together and children will even begin to explore beginning blending with the letters! Once complete, teachers are encouraged to assess students and review as needed. Let's explore and build key skills through instruction and play!
